Step into a rewarding school-based role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Work onsite alongside a collaborative team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students with diverse communication needs. This full-time opportunity offers a contract spanning now through the end of the current school year, with potential to continue into 2025–2026. Part-time applicants are also encouraged.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students in K–5, primarily within ASD and severe/profound classrooms
- Participate actively in IEP development, meetings, and implementation
- Conduct ongoing progress monitoring and documentation
- Fulfill Medicaid billing requirements in line with district and state policies
- Work closely with educators and support staff to tailor interventions to student needs
- Communicate regularly with families and caregivers to ensure continuity of care
Required qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Georgia
- Valid GA Educator Certificate
- School-based experience preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome
- Comfortable working on-site; this position replaces a previous virtual role
- Experience with ASD and severe/profound classroom caseloads highly desired
- Commitment to collaborative, student-centered service
