CAD Technician - Major Tunnel Infrastructure Project

Description Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technical services ( We are currently looking for a CAD Technician to join our team for a major tunnel infrastructure project in Pittsburgh, USA (on-site position). -Project : Major Tunnel & Underground Infrastructure Works -Summary: The CAD Technician will support survey and engineering teams during the execution of a major tunnelling infrastructure project. The selected candidate will work directly from the project offices, supporting drawing production, survey drafting, as-built documentation, and coordination with field teams throughout the different phases of the works. -Estimated duration of the position: 48 months - In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him/her continuity. -Responsibilities: Prepare and update CAD drawings for construction activities. Support survey and engineering teams with drafting tasks. Produce as-built drawings and technical documentation. Process field information into drawing updates. Maintain drawing records and revision control. Coordinate with surveyors and project engineers. Support tunnel-related drafting requirements. Assist technical teams in maintaining accurate project documentation. -Working hours: Monday to Friday - 9 working hours (1-hour break) -Benefits: Working for an international company currently expanding. 22 paid vacation days. Travel: Round-trip flights at the beginning and end of the project. Hotel: Two weeks of accommodation upon arrival if necessary. Medical insurance: 50% covered for the employee. Visa sponsorship available if necessary. Requirements -Requirements : Experience in tunnelling projects/linear projects/heavy civil construction works. Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles. Experience as CAD Technician in civil infrastructure projects. Tunnel or underground project experience preferred. Strong AutoCAD skills required. Civil 3D and/or MicroStation experience considered a plus. Good communication and teamwork skills. English level: C1 (Advanced).
