MFM Ultrasound Technologist - PRN

Job TitleThis position is PRN at Arnett Hospital. Preferred OB and MFM experience.Job DescriptionPerform high risk obstetrical ultrasounds, as well as specialized exams, while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills. Perform independent sonographic images of maternal-fetal conditions and may assist provider with ultrasound guidance during invasive procedures and fetal intervention surgeries, including CVS, amniocentesis, PUBS, laser surgery for TTTS, depending on department. Follow physician's instructions, prepare and operate equipment and position patients correctly in order to record the requested diagnostic images. Maintain practice standards as outlined in The American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) accreditation.Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.1 - 3 years of OB/GYN or MFM experience preferred.Basic Life Support certification required.Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.Prefer active status through one of the following: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS): Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Obstetrics & Gynecology, RDMS (OB/GYN) or Pediatric Sonography, RDMS (PS); or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT): Registered Technologist - Sonography, RT(S).
