Diesel Mechanic

Location: Oil Center, NM, USA Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent full‑time position. The role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines for our heavy equipment and motors, ensuring optimal performance. Experience Level: Mid Level Salary: $26 - $39 per hour Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines for heavy equipment and motors. Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to identify mechanical problems. Conduct routine maintenance, including replacement of parts, servicing, and performance checks. Repair and replace faulty parts and components such as pistons, bearings, gears, valves, and bushings. Overhaul and test major components including engines, transmissions, and differentials. Inspect, repair, and maintain bulldozers, cranes, graders, and excavators. Candidate Requirements Valid driver’s license. Pass background check and drug screening.
