Direct Outside Sales Representative

We have three openings in Spokane Valley, WA. As a Direct Outside Sales Representative and member of sales teams you will be on front-lines interacting with customers every day, at their doorstep -- educating them on products and services, and how they can enrich their life.

As a Direct Outside Sales Representative, you will be selling our products and services door-to-door. This is not a desk job. As a Direct Outside Sales Representative-Residential, you will sell our client products and services in a door-to-door manner. You will be canvassing neighborhoods and providing the community with reliable TV, phone, and internet services. You will act as a territory manager and take ownership in acquiring new leads (above and beyond the list of addresses provided by our marketing team). You will gain referral partners, participate in community events, and act as a brand ambassador for our client at all times. This is a year-round, full-time position with a flexible work schedule.

Schedule: Manage your own 40-hour work-week between 09:00 AM to 09:00 PM Monday-Saturday

Compensation: Base Salary ($30,500) + uncapped commission. Targeted earnings from $60K-$100K per year or more! The salary listed for this position is encompassing of both the base salary, as well as what one might expect to earn when meeting established sales quotas.

Responsibilities:

• Contact cold and warm prospect customers through in-person cold calling at people's homes, networking, and referrals to educate them on voice, data, and television services in territory provided by our client.
• Make sales calls to determine customer need, gain information, and sell our client services to prospective customers in order to achieve their sales quota
• Prepare documentation of sales orders received from customers and remit to supervisor on a daily basis. This includes sales orders and agreements, third party verifications, and sales reports in a manner consistent with manager specifications
• Manage the customer account from the sale through installation.
• Perform telephone follow-ups on each sale after it is installed to ensure customer satisfaction after the sale
• Set up and attend community events that will allow for sales opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ months of sales/customer service experience OR current or prior military service with honorable discharge. (1+ year of outside sales experience preferred).
• Ability to obtain and maintain any credentials and/or licenses necessary to sell.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.

• Computer literate with familiarity of in-home electronics, computers, and high-speed Internet preferred.
• Must be enthusiastic, persuasive, persistent, and have the ability to handle rejection in the selling process well.
• Must be a good listener and have superior people skills.
• Must be committed to providing exceptional customer service in a calm, professional manner.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and be a self-starter.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for interaction with customers to educate them on cable, voice, and data services.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.
• Ability to deal with public in a professional manner.
• Must be able to pass local community background checks and permitting processes.
