Bassett Healthcare Network , a progressive, academic health system in central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking an Obstetrician/Gynecologist PM Hospitalist to join our staff.

Job Summary

Join an established group of 9 Physicians, 9 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC), and 8 Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM).

Responsibilities

• Support an LDR model with Level 1 Nursery and 1000+ deliveries per year; Albany Medical Center serves as our Regional Perinatal Center.
• Hospital‑employed position with hourly competitive salary.
• 12‑hour shifts (8 AM‑8 PM or 8 PM‑8 AM).
• 24‑hour in‑house anesthesia and midwifery support.
• Collegial working environment.
• Integrated EPIC Electronic Health Record.

Job Requirements

• MD, DO, or MBBS.
• BE/BC certification.
• New York State licensure.
• NLS certification.
