Key Responsibilities

As a licensed mental health therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting ethical and compassionate counseling sessions through video conferencing, ensuring that each client feels safe and respected.
• Utilizing solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of each client and promoting effective therapeutic engagement.
• Developing comprehensive and individualized treatment plans that consider the client’s specific goals, challenges, and circumstances.
• Helping clients explore their thoughts and feelings to develop deeper insights into their behaviors and relationships, enhancing their self-awareness and personal growth.
• Monitoring client progress regularly, adapting treatment plans as necessary to promote positive outcomes, and assisting clients in establishing healthy coping strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults who present with a wide range of mental health concerns. This population includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, and stress, among other challenges. Your ability to connect with clients on their journey to improved mental health will be essential in helping them develop the coping mechanisms and skills necessary to enrich their lives.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Applicants must hold one of the following fully licensed credentials to practice independently without supervision: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Candidates must not possess a limited or provisional license and must have no disciplinary actions on their record.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a sympathetic nature are essential for fostering positive client relationships.
• Strong computer literacy is required to engage effectively with digital tools and platforms for client management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling techniques.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and their application to enhance client outcomes.
