Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in educational or special-needs settings preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a supportive, patient demeanor.
• Flexibility to work across different grade levels and program types (Cross Cat 1:1, blended classrooms, resource programs).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, specialists, and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer hands-on support to students across various instructional settings, including specialized and inclusive classrooms.
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance as indicated by student needs and program goals.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages student engagement.
• Implement instructional and behavioral strategies under the guidance of certified teachers.
• Support students’ transitions throughout the school day, which may include academic, social, and self-care aspects.
• Assist with daily classroom tasks and maintain accurate records as required.
