Job Description
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and work orders through production to support on-time delivery.
- Monitor production schedules, inventory levels, purchase orders, and supplier commitments to identify potential delays.
- Communicate with Purchasing, Planning, Production, Quality, and suppliers to resolve shortages and scheduling issues.
- Track open orders and provide timely updates on material status, lead times, and delivery dates.
- Investigate shortages, late deliveries, and production constraints and escalate issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and update ERP/MRP systems with current order and material status.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to improve material availability, production flow, and on-time delivery.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in aerospace or manufacturing, strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.
