Responsibilities Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth and meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in‑patient services as determined. Lead clinic staff in behaviors, actions, and attitude to deliver excellent patient care. Perform responsibilities included in the SCRIBE job description and discuss patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications. Ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction. Engage with clinical leadership and elevate issues to management to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns. Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate daily. Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and supervising physicians. Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses. Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostics and therapeutic recommendations with attention to patient‑centric care, safety, cost, and reliability. Ensure that provider activities are consistent with department expectations and comply with federal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirements including HIPAA. Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment within both in‑patient clinic and virtual settings. Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests and responsibly prescribe medications while educating patients on continued treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions. Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training. Perform responsibilities within standard NP/PA protocols and complete all mandatory compliance training. Recommend ideas to improve overall patient experience and care. Communicate regularly with team members to support excellent patient care. Welcome new employees, facilitate introductions and provide job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities. Maintain a respectful culture of employee, employer, and business confidentiality. Consult with patients through virtual communication channels. Proven experience working as a telehealth clinician. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Additional Requirements and Responsibilities for Ancillary Providers Required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month. Full‑time employees are required to work 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend. On‑call periodically throughout the year. Level requirements: Level 1: New graduate with up to 1 year of experience as an NP or PA. Level 2: 1–5 years of experience. Level 3: 5–10 years of experience. Level 4: over 10 years of experience. Experience Requirements and Preferences Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS). Experience: At least 1–2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice such as urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER or trauma unit, or family medical practice is strongly preferred. Current License or Certification: License and DEA must be active, in good standing, and verifiable with the proper regulatory agency. DEA is required for all providers; DOT certification is required to be obtained by full‑time and part‑time providers within 120 days of employment and maintained during employment.
