Senior Motor Vehicle Technician - Telework Hybrid

This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento.

Under general direction from the Supervisor I in the unit, the incumbent functions independently, providing support in a lead/journey-level capacity for processing, review, intake, and assigning casework. Completes unit timekeeping functions, orders office supplies, and prepares monthly reports. Customer contact responds to complex telephone and written inquiries from a variety of Investigations and departmental sources.

Working Conditions


Part-time telework available. Telework requires California residency. This position offers hybrid telework opportunities; however, telework arrangements are subject to change at any time based on State & departmental operational needs. Employees may be required to report to the office as necessary.

Shift work, indoors, at cubicle/desk.
