The Assistant Branch Manager position is a working manager position, working directly with the team supporting daily operations and delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence. Benefits Full-time, family-friendly work schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance Company provided life insurance TWO retirement plans - 401K and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) DieselUSA Group is part of the nation’s 27 th largest ESOP 401K plan includes an employer match Current stock price: $1295.15 Paid Time Off starts immediately 8 paid holidays Associate Assistance Plan Assistant Branch Manager Requirements 5+ years of demonstrated successful management experience Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead a team of Associates Solid understanding of customer service principles and practices Strong decision making and problem-solving skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficient knowledge of inventory processes Ability to work collaboratively within all levels of organization and multiple departments Automotive industry knowledge and background is a plus Assistant Branch Manager Responsibilities Hire, train, and manage the team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short and long term performance goals Develop and implement warehouse operations systems including workflows and action plans to meet productivity, quality, and customer service standards Responsible for execution and implementation of all procedures regarding picking, packing, shipping, receiving and ordering Manage inventory product and loss control including periodic inventory counts Establish continuous improvement practices to ensure that inventory levels are accurately reported and reconciled to shelved product Monitor physical inventory variances and limit internal adjustments for lost and found parts.
