Requirements:Your Responsibilities
As a CNC Machine Operator, you will play an essential role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. Responsibilities include:
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently while meeting production and quality standards
- Follow all Health & Safety regulations— Safety First is our priority
- Load parts precisely according to Work Instructions and Training Guidelines
- Read, understand, and follow Job Books and In-Process Inspection Sheets
- Perform product testing and verification to support optimal machine performance
- Develop skills to run increasingly complex parts using advanced measuring tools such as bore gages, inside micrometers, and depth gages
- Maintain excellent housekeeping of machines, tools, inspection equipment, and work areas each shift
- Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent, conforming results
- Troubleshoot issues during operation to maintain quality and efficiency
- Communicate clearly with leadership regarding machining, manufacturing, or safety concerns
- Perform pre- and post-machining inspections to ensure product conformance
- Independently complete assembly and manufacturing tasks using product-specific job instructions
- Take ownership of smooth, reliable machine operation
- Safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds as required
