Pay: Starting at $22.47/hr Bi-weekly pay Total Rewards: Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, & Vision) starting Day 1! 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Time off Shifts: Nights available 12-hour shifts (6am- 6pm, 6pm-6am) Plant operates on various schedules (schedule assignment determined by candidate preference and plant needs): 2-2-3 schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off rotation. Working 3-4 days/week ( One week : Sun, Wed, Thurs & Next week : Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat). Candidate Process: Please note- communication will be through phone, email, and text. Summary: Bakers are the start of the pretzel making process. You'll be responsible for running a large mixer and extruder with computer programing and hand measuring. Previous machine operating experience is a must. Large bakery experience is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Follow all SOPs to keep consistent product quality Recognize the different dough textures Keep hoppers filled with proper amount of dough Properly measure the minor ingredients by performing catch samples Check dough temperature Check the flour sifter each shift Check all drives, cookers, salters, ovens, dryers, discharge, and proofing conveyors to ensure they are properly operating and set to correct settings Document cuts per minute as required Check and record caustic every 30 minutes record on BakerQC Check wet weights/length every 30 minutes record on BakerQC Make inventory moves in S4 Hana Record all ingredient lot numbers Keep salter full at accurate level specified Notify leads, QA, and packers of any bad product and how long it will last Communicate with immediate supervisor if any problems arise All other duties assigned by supervisor and management

Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire. High School diploma or GED One-month related experience or training Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and decimals

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a manufacturing/food manufacturing environment including the following: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Foods (SQF), Autonomous/Preventative Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, and Warehouse Management Systems such as SAP/LPR.
