Job Title: Machine Operator Location: North Kingstown, RI Type: Contract Compensation: $17.50 Contractor Work Model: On-Site Hours: 40.0 hours per week Security Clearance: Not specified

Responsibilities

• Operate various card production equipment to personalize debit/credit cards according to customer specifications.
• Work with other operators, technicians, and supervisory staff to achieve daily and monthly goals.
• Perform minor equipment maintenance and adjustments per written and oral instructions.
• Conduct quality inspections on own work according to production standards.
• Identify potential production and quality problems, recommending remedial, corrective, or contingency actions.
• Maintain awareness and compliance with all security and production policies and procedures.
• Confirm work receipt and formulate work priority decisions.
• Exceed production output and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Order supplies as needed and attend training and meetings as required.
• Support safety standards and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Basic computer skills and basic math skills.
• Good communication skills in both written and verbal form.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various formats.
• Ability to establish credibility and be decisive while supporting organizational priorities.
• Eager to learn and grow within a supportive, high-performance team.
• Embraces teamwork and values open, cross-department collaboration.
• Willing to adapt and master both new and traditional equipment.
• Committed to upholding safety, quality, and process excellence.
• 1-3 years of mechanical ability experience.
• 1-3 years of safety rules and maintenance instructions experience.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Physical ability to stand and operate a machine for 6+ hours daily.
