Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Traveling RN for the Operating Room at a busy surgical center. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care across multiple surgical specialties in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and circulate for a variety of surgical procedures including ortho, ENT, pediatrics, GYN, podiatry, plastic, and urology.
• Provide patient care before, during, and after surgeries, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
• Float between multiple surgery centers within the Denver area as needed.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to maintain efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all unit policies, safety guidelines, and equipment protocols.
• Document patient information and surgical details accurately in the EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with a minimum of 1 year current acute care OR experience.
• Possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate circulating experience across various service lines in a high-volume setting.
• Be flexible, proactive, and possess a positive attitude suitable for a dynamic environment.
• Experience in pediatric procedures is preferred.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different surgical centers and team members.
