This on-call role provides coverage for call-outs, PTOs, LOAs, and peak operational needs while supporting safe, efficient medication automation that enables pharmacy teams to focus on patient care. What You'll DoOperate and support Omnicell automation in accordance with SOPs and best practices Manage medication inventory, restocking, returns, and formulary accuracy Perform routine equipment inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting Monitor system performance and escalate unresolved issues to TAC or the appropriate helpdesk Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with Pharmacy Services policies Communicate proactively with pharmacy leadership and customers to resolve issues Serve as a subject matter resource for Omnicell team members as needed Participate in training and maintain all required certifications and credentials Basic QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED ActiveState Board of Pharmacy Technician License/Registration for the state of TN (as required by state) ActiveNational Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB / CPhT / EXCPT) Working knowledge of hospital pharmacy and pharmacy automation (preferred) Preferred QualificationsCompletion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program 2+ years of hospital pharmacy automation experience Experience supporting automation troubleshooting and pharmacy workflows Skills & AttributesStrong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Comfort working with mechanical equipment and computer systems Proficiency with Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Schedule & Work ConditionsPRN / On-Call (as needed)Coverage primarily for Callouts/Sick Calls, Vacations, LOAs, etc.Shift: (maybe subject to change) On-site support at Memphis, TN client site(s)This role will be good match if you are currently on a 7 on / 7 off work schedule, looking for PRN or part-time work only, etc.8-10-hour shifts; hours may extend beyond normal business needs Ability to Travel for training Pharmacy environment with potential exposure to hazardous drugs Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs Why PRN with OmnicellThis role is a great way to get your foot in the door with Omnicell.
