My client is a well-established professional services firm located in downtown Washington, D.C. with a need for a Billing Specialist. The Billing Specialist will report directly to the Billing Manager and will be tasked with preparing client invoices, reconciling accounts, processing ebilling, and assisting with accounts receivable. The Billing Specialist must have strong communication skills and experience in preparing in billing in the professional services, billable hours industry. The Billing Specialist will be responsible for the following-up duties:

• Prepare and distribute weekly, quarterly, and year-end reports for clients.
• Review and distribute pre-bills
• Ensure client specific billing guidelines, ensure matter engagement letter compliance.
• Effectively interact and communicate with attorneys, secretaries, and clients in a decentralized billing environment.
• Assist with managing client invoicing and regular collections activities including generation of Accounts Receivable reports monthly
• Review and verify accuracy of billing and supporting documentation as required.
• Research and respond to inquiries regarding billing issues and problems.
• Create new billing formats as needed. xhyhwjd
• Create billing schedules and various other billing analyses as required.
• Preparing Electronic billing, assist with maintaining ebilling hub

Requirements:

2 + years' experience in billing in a law firm

Aderant or 3E experience

Strong MS Excel skills

Excellent analytical skills Proficient in MS Office
