Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Schedule:
Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A
36 and 48 hours per week available
1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend

Assignment Details:
Contract Duration: 16 weeks or longer
Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week

Requirements:
- Active NY RN license
- AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, C-EFM fetal monitoring certifications
- 2 years recent experience in labor and delivery
- 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates
- EMR: EPIC, OBIX

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients.
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal well-being during labor.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient needs and outcomes.
- Assist with the delivery process, including emergency procedures when necessary.
- Educate patients and families on labor and delivery processes and postpartum care.
- Document all nursing assessments and interventions accurately in the patient's medical record.

Compliance / Notes:
Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
Must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule.
May float to mother/baby and newborn as needed.
