The Hardware Engineering organization is dedicated to consistently providing high quality product designs in support of multiple product areas.The Manager of Data Management oversees a group of approximately 7-10 support members. The technical areas of expertise of this group include: product technical data management and contractual data management. The manager will be responsible for Team Leadership and Management, Team Technical Performance, and Strategic Planning. Tasks included within the scope of responsibility are:Staff management & administrationCost Account ManagerMaintenance of and reaction to future staffing projectionsMentoring & career development, including trainingProgram performance monitoring & supportEnsuring and monitoring quality of work productsData Management process maintenance & enforcementLeadership of proposal activities for Hardware EngineeringThought leadership toward product innovationsExecute a strategic vision for the Data Management functions.This position is full-time and on-site at our Rolling Meadows, IL location.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or can have 9+ years of relevant professional/military experience in lieu of degree.Previous experience in lead role(s)Proficiency in computer use & typical office applicationsUS Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Active secret clearancePreferred Qualifications:Advanced degree in a relevant fieldCertification as a Cost Account Manager and prior working knowledgeWorking familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, and CMMIWorking familiarity with contract negotiationsWorking familiarity with Requirements Traceability MatrixExperience with CADE and TopView US Government Data Delivery SystemsProven record of collaboration across organizations and geographical locationWorking knowledge of NGC procurement processesFormal Continuous Improvement training, such as Six Sigma.Working knowledge of Agile processHigh proficiency in oral and written communications at all levels within an organization, internally, and externallyActive DoD secret clearancePrimary Level Salary Range: $105,000.00 - $157,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
