Physical Therapist – Outpatient | UPMC MansfieldUPMC is hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team at UPMC Outpatient Center, 416 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA.This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a collaborative, patient-focused environment while helping individuals regain function, improve mobility, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.Clinic HoursMonday & Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PMTuesday & Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PMFriday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PMFull-time schedule consists of 8-hour shifts within clinic operating hours.What You'll DoEvaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.Provide physical therapy treatments for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.Collaborate with physicians, physical therapist assistants, and other members of the healthcare team.Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery strategies.Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.Supervise and support Physical Therapist Assistants.Participate in continuing education, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.Serve as a clinical instructor for students when applicable.Why Join UPMC?Collaborative and supportive rehabilitation teamOpportunities for professional growth and continuing educationMeaningful work helping patients improve their quality of lifeFull-time benefits packageJoin UPMC and make a difference every day by helping patients regain independence and reach their fullest potential.Required:Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and patient care skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.Ability to read, interpret, and document information in medical records.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.Preferred:Active participation in professional healthcare organizations.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the practicing state.Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.Act 33 ClearanceAct 34 ClearanceAct 73 FBI ClearanceMay, in the course of job duties, enter areas where medications are stored.
