Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Doctoral, Master‘s, or Bachelor‘s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Home health experience required.
• Experience with HomeCare Home Base EMR preferred.
• Business casual or blue scrubs dress code.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel physical therapy experience preferred.
• Familiarity with conducting starts of care, evaluations, and routine PT visits in home health.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0800-1600 (client indicates 8:00 AM–4:00 PM and 8:00 AM–4:30 PM in notes).
• Weekly hour guarantee: 32 hours.
• Coverage area includes Lycoming County, PA; travel between patient visits mileage reimbursed.
• No on-call or weekend requirement.

Impacting Patient Care

Your role will include completing starts of care, initial and ongoing evaluations, and routine physical therapy visits in the home health setting. You will document care in the agency EMR and coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient-centered care across the service area.
