About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Asset Management. The successful candidate will have direct responsibility for a subset of assets within a large and diverse commercial real estate portfolio. This role involves executing the full lease life cycle, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and maintaining ongoing asset management models. The AVP will also assist the Executive Team with transaction-related activities, work on portfolio valuations, and participate in various meetings related to the operational, construction, and leasing aspects of the business. Additionally, the role includes the opportunity to take over the oversight of the self-storage asset management function and requires the ability to build and maintain an institutional asset management and reporting framework. Applicants should have 5-8 years' of relevant experience in commercial real estate, with a strong technical background including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Argus. A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required, and experience with self-storage assets is a plus. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, have an entrepreneurial mindset, and possess strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. The role demands a high level of attention to detail, advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. Proficiency in market research and the ability to present complex information clearly are also essential.
