Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with every 3rd Saturday from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. What You'll Do: Assist the Director of Activities in planning and leading engaging recreational, social, and wellness programs for residents. Encourage resident participation by providing activities that meet a variety of cognitive, physical, and emotional needs. Maintain activity calendars, bulletin boards, displays, and activity supplies. Escort residents to appointments, outings, church services, and special events. Build meaningful relationships with residents and families while incorporating resident interests into activity planning. Observe and report resident participation, progress, and concerns to the Director of Activities or nursing staff. Assist with community events, holiday celebrations, and departmental activities. Collaborate with other departments to provide engaging, person-centered experiences. Follow all safety, infection control, HIPAA, and quality assurance standards. What You'll Need: Must be 18 years of age or older. Previous experience working with older adults is preferred. Basic computer skills. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. A positive, compassionate attitude and a passion for enriching the lives of older adults.
