AVEVA MES Engineer

Job Description Experience and technical knowledge with AVEVA MES solutions. Experience with AVEVA / Wonderware software such as AVEVA MES Modules – Performance, Operations and Quality; AVEVA System Platform; AVEVA Work Tasks (Skelta BPM); AVEVA MDM. Developer experience on at least one MES full‑lifecycle project on Aveva MES. Software development, implementation, and support experience on Aveva Wonderware MES, especially Operation, Quality and Performance modules. Experience with MES environment setup and platform readiness. Functional understanding of MES modules, operations, performance, and quality. Experience with Aveva System Platform, Wonderware/Aveva Historian, and Object integration server. Knowledge of ISA‑95, ISA‑88, and MESA standards. Brief understanding of different functionalities covered in Aveva MES and ability to map functional requirements into MES modules. Understanding of controls and automation technologies, including OPC, PLCs, SCADA, and integration methods. Knowledge of SQL scripting and query optimization. Experience with C# and .NET development environment. Web programming interface experience (JavaScript, CSS, JSON, jQuery, Web API, HTML5, REST API). Industrial automation and networking experience is a plus. Microsoft SQL Server database design, optimized SQL queries, and view design. Roles & Responsibilities Provide functional expertise for MES modules and support end‑to‑end MES implementations. Configure and tune Aveva System Platform and associated historian components. Apply ISA‑95, ISA‑88, and MESA standards to system design. Map business functional requirements to appropriate MES modules. Integrate MES with control systems (OPC, PLCs, SCADA) and other enterprise systems. Develop and maintain .NET applications and web interfaces for MES functionality. Write and optimize SQL scripts and database objects. Participate in technical design reviews and code reviews. Salary Range $100,000 – $130,000 per year.
