Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Respiratory Therapist Wenatchee, WA. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care services within a healthcare facility. The role requires a certified or registered respiratory therapist capable of performing comprehensive airway management, ventilator troubleshooting, and administering respiratory therapies. The position is scheduled for night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Location: Wenatchee, WA
• Schedule: Nights; 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Washington State License
  • Registered respiratory therapist, registry eligible, or certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Must be a graduate of an approved school of respiratory care
  • EPIC electronic health record (EHR) experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Additional Information:
  • Responsible for the safe and effective administration of medically prescribed medications, knowing their indications and contraindications.
  • Knows and follows policies and procedures for administering therapeutic modalities such as Nebulizer, Chest Physiotherapy (CPT), Flutter Valve, Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP)/Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP), and High Flow oxygen therapies.
  • Sets up and monitors all oxygen aerosol administration and maintains oxygen cylinders in proper carriers at all times.
  • Performs all aspects of artificial airway care, including deep blind tracheal suctioning.
  • Familiar with measurement devices including pulse oximeters, Wrights respirometers, manometers, cuff pressures, and oxygen blenders.
  • Responsible for the setup, safety check, monitoring, and troubleshooting of mechanical ventilators.
  • Familiar with CPAP setup and administration.
  • Maintains accurate and legible records, documenting clinical notes in patient charts.
