ACCOUNTING & RECORDS SPECIALISTNumbers matter. Details matter. And so do the people behind them.We're a small manufacturing and distribution company serving the hospitality and confectionery industries, and we're looking for an experienced Accounting & Records Specialist to join our close-knit team. You'll become an important part of keeping our business running smoothly and accurately. You'll work across accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, credit cards, payroll, and general accounting while gaining a deeper understanding of how the different pieces of a growing business fit together. If you like knowing that your work matters and enjoy being the person who makes sure the details are right, you'll fit right in.Your days will include processing invoices and payments, assisting with customer accounts and collections, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, preparing journal entries, maintaining accurate financial records, and helping with month-end close. You'll also assist with financial reporting, payroll processing, documentation, and a variety of projects that come up along the way. Some days will be routine; others will require you to investigate a discrepancy, solve a problem, or figure out why the numbers aren't quite telling the story they should.We're looking for someone who already has experience in accounting or finance and understands that accuracy isn't optional. You should be comfortable working with accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconciliations, financial records, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Experience with enterprise accounting software is important, but we're more interested in someone who is comfortable learning new systems and figuring things out.A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred, but we value experience and ability just as much as education. If you are organized, dependable, detail-oriented, good with numbers, and able to manage your time and priorities without someone standing over your shoulder, we want to hear from you.Most importantly, we're looking for someone who wants to be part of a team.
