Tech - MLT/Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist

Job Description

Job Summary:
Perform diagnostic laboratory tests in the clinical microbiology and blood bank settings to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Ensure accurate, timely results through precise specimen analysis and adherence to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct blood bank and clinical microbiology testing on patient specimens.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
• Follow established procedures to ensure quality and accuracy of test results.
• Document and report laboratory findings clearly and promptly.
• Adhere to holiday staffing requirements, including major and minor holidays.
• Comply with laboratory regulations and quality assurance measures.

Qualifications:

• Hold ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, or HHS certification.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in blood bank and clinical microbiology laboratories.
• Demonstrate proficiency in specimen testing and analysis.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
