Hospital Housekeeper

Job Summary and Responsibilities This role is essential in the hospital industry. The Hospital Housekeeper will perform daily and periodic cleaning tasks in assigned areas to maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for patients, visitors, and other staff members. You will sanitize floors, walls, windows, doors, fixtures, furnishings, stairways, elevators, entrances/exits, horizontal surfaces, bathrooms, unit common areas, utility rooms, and patient rooms. Cleaning tasks include both maintenance and restorative work, depending on needs. All cleaning tasks will be performed in accordance with Infection Control policies using proper tools, body mechanics, and lifting techniques, with consideration of patients and their families. You will pursue opportunities for improvement, demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in assignments, and understand that areas may change based on Environmental Services Leadership. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (preferred). At least 1 year of Environmental Services or Housekeeping experience (preferred).
