Data Product Governance Architect Location: Chicago, IL Salary: $150,000.00 USD Annually - $160,000.00 USD Annually Job Description Role is for the “product governance architecture” workstream. Someone actually getting the architecture recommendations, best practices… a governance person but technically savvy… not traditional governance… operational… architect the whole solution. Responsibilities Architect data product governance across Snowflake, Databricks, Collibra Knowledge of how to get LangChain and LangGraph going and use Trustwise for runtime governance Architect must own the full stack and solution applying best practices, skills, and governance standards across all the platforms and work with the domain owners to guide, interpret and action on the assessment findings Understand Unity Catalog, Horizon, metadata, lineage, RBAC, SSO Metadata enrichment and classification Workflow automation and policy enforcement Data discovery and recommendations Build governance automation, not manual processes Work with observability vendors Integrate Snowflake + Databricks + Collibra into a unified metadata ecosystem Think strategically and research best practices Experience working with governance platforms and platform-native AI / agentic capabilities, including Governance Platforms Collibra (control plane, metadata, policy management) Databricks Unity Catalog (lineage, access control, governance) Snowflake Horizon / Open Catalog (governance, sharing, discovery) Open and interoperability frameworks: Open Catalog / federated catalog approaches API-driven integration across platforms Metadata-driven and automation-driven governance Experience with: Data lineage, metadata, or quality frameworks APIs and platform integrations Knowledge of: RAG architectures Work full time on governance architecture Nice to Have Governance automation tools #J-18808-Ljbffr The Judge Group
