Network Security Specialist

Network Security Specialist Employee Type: Full Time Responsibilities Support incident response program, create playbooks and case reports for security incidents. Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to protect the company's network and systems. Work closely with networking and systems teams to ensure hardware and software are well maintained with latest security patches. Conduct security awareness training for all staff members using training software. Research, implement, and maintain endpoint security solutions and strategies to prevent unauthorized access, malware, and data leaks. Report overall security program metrics to management. Perform audit of users’ access, privileges, and accounts. Identify, protect, detect, and mitigate security intrusion attempts. Requirements Full time onsite work. 2+ years security analyst or higher experience. 4+ years total IT experience. Positive attitude and ability to work well with multi-functional teams. Team player, sharing and expanding own understanding of technology via cross training. Effective business communication and technical writing skills. Bachelor’s degree in computer science. ISC2 CC, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+ GIFC, CCNA, SSCP, or CEH certificates. Experience with SOC/SIEM, Anti-Virus Management, Email Security, O365 Admin Center, Azure, SharePoint, and Windows OS.
