Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a Long Term Care setting requiring 2 years of PTA experience and a TX or compact license.

• Long Term Care skilled nursing facility setting within the Physical Therapy unit
• Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of PTA experience required
• Current TX or compact PTA license required (license required if applicable)
• Works under the direction and supervision of physical therapists

Additional Information

• Treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions
• Record patient progress and report treatment results to supervising physical therapist
• Care approach emphasizes personalized treatment plans and a warm, home-like recovery environment
• Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
