Tax Accountant

Location: Grand Rapids, MI Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 Schedule: Monday-Friday | Full Time Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 1 day remote after training. Responsibilities Prepare and process flow-through business entity tax returns using UltraTax Calculate business tax payments and assist with tax compliance activities Communicate with clients via email to obtain missing tax information and documentation Assist with special tax projects throughout the year Support the team during busy tax periods and help prepare for future filing seasons When tax workloads are lighter, assist with accounting functions and financial statement preparation (training provided if needed) Required Qualifications Associate\'s degree in Accounting or Finance minimum Exposure to tax preparation or at least one tax season of experience Basic understanding of business tax compliance Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines Comfortable learning new technology and software Preferred Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance Experience preparing financial statements Public accounting or small firm tax experience Working toward CPA licensure Enrolled Agent (EA) designation Tax Accountant Tax Accountant Tax Accountant Tax Accountant Tax Accountant Tax Accountant Tax Accountant #INAUG2026 #J-18808-Ljbffr
