- Measure, cut, and shape drywall to fit around windows, doors, and other obstacles.
- Apply tape and joint compound to seams for a smooth finish.
- Ensure all work meets local building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing drywall structures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices for drywall installation.
- Proven experience as a drywall installer or similar role.
- Knowledge of drywall materials and installation techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle materials and equipment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
