About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in specialty License: MT license required for ARRT; state license must be applied for immediately upon offer acceptance Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT-R or CCI RCIS Must-Have: RCIS preferred Description: This position requires a highly skilled Cath Lab Tech. Candidates must have experience in accurate monitoring and hemodynamic monitoring. Skills in diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures are essential. Candidates should be familiar with equipment setup, maintaining inventory, and sterile technique. Experience with pacemaker insertion, cardiac stent placement, and performing EKG lead placement is required. Knowledge of specialized procedures such as IABP placement/removal and use of vascular closure systems is preferred. Candidates should be capable of recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias and interpreting dysrhythmias. Applicants should possess strong technical skills with equipment such as shockwave and rotablator. A commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment is crucial.
