¿Cómo es un día típico como Asistente de Investigación Científica?

• Apoyar operaciones de investigación de campo, incluyendo siembra, adelgazamiento, desyerbe, polinización y cosecha de muestras
• Ayudar en el procesamiento de muestras, como preparación de suministros, clasificación, desmotado, pesaje y empaque de semillas
• Apoyar en el mantenimiento y organización de la instalación, incluyendo limpieza general y gestión de muestras
• Asistir en la reparación y mantenimiento de equipos de campo y operar equipos móviles o estacionarios bajo supervisión
• Seguir instrucciones detalladas y trabajar junto al Técnico de Campo y Supervisor de Campo

Este puesto puede ser ideal para ti si:

• Tienes un título universitario en Agronomía, Ciencias Naturales, Biología, Ciencias Ambientales, Estadística, Matemáticas o Sistemas de Información (requisito)
• Posees conocimientos básicos/intermedios en limpieza y transformación de datos, análisis descriptivo, identificación de tendencias y fusiones de conjuntos de datos (cuantitativos + cualitativos)
• Puedes interpretar observaciones de campo, estandarizar datos cualitativos, relacionar observaciones con métricas cuantitativas y comunicar hallazgos claramente
• Demuestras pensamiento analítico, atención al detalle y habilidades organizacionales para gestionar múltiples fuentes de datos
• Eres capaz de recibir y seguir instrucciones escritas y verbales, y trabajar en equipo
• Tienes la capacidad de obtener una licencia de conducir si se solicita (requisito de empleo)
• Estás disponible para trabajar todos los turnos, incluyendo fines de semana y feriados, según lo requieran las necesidades de investigación de temporada
