Senior SEO, ASO and AI Search Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior SEO, ASO and AI Search Specialist based in United States.

We are seeking an experienced search specialist to lead organic growth strategies for established international brands in a dynamic, fully remote environment. This hands-on role combines technical SEO expertise with app store optimization (ASO), AI search visibility, content strategy and YouTube optimization. You will take ownership of multiple client accounts, transforming technical insights and performance data into actionable recommendations that drive measurable business results. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will guide implementation, test new approaches and continuously improve search performance across platforms. You will also build trusted client relationships, communicate strategic priorities and connect organic discovery to meaningful outcomes. Accountabilities:

• Lead and execute comprehensive SEO, ASO and AI search strategies across multiple client accounts, identifying and prioritizing opportunities based on impact, urgency and implementation effort.
• Conduct technical SEO audits and oversee improvements related to crawling, indexing, rendering, canonicalization, redirects, structured data and website performance, validating fixes through implementation.
• Protect organic visibility during website launches, migrations and major technical changes while continuously testing new strategies and refining established services.
• Manage app store optimization across the Apple App Store and Google Play, including keyword research, metadata optimization, localization and creative testing.
• Develop content strategies and actionable briefs aligned with audience needs, search intent and conversion objectives, collaborating with writers and specialists to improve content quality, on-page optimization and internal linking.
• Strengthen brand authority through editorial outreach, digital PR, relevant partnerships and earned links and mentions.
• Optimize YouTube discoverability and engagement through topic selection, titles, descriptions, thumbnails and playlists, using performance data to inform improvements.
• Develop and test AI search strategies, monitor brand mentions and citations, and evaluate emerging visibility metrics with a critical, data-driven approach.
• Lead client communications by presenting clear recommendations, performance updates, strategic priorities and practical next steps while coordinating delivery with internal specialists and client teams.
• Track qualified organic traffic, app installs, engagement and conversions, investigate performance fluctuations and translate findings into measurable business outcomes.
• Integrate AI-powered tools into research, analysis and workflows while verifying outputs for accuracy and reliability.
• Build toward full ownership of organic growth strategy and delivery for assigned accounts, with the potential to take on broader business unit leadership responsibilities.

Requirements:

• At least five years of hands-on SEO experience, with the expertise and strategic judgment to independently manage organic growth initiatives for established brands.
• Strong technical SEO knowledge, including crawling, indexing, canonicals, redirects, rendering, structured data and site performance optimization.
• Practical ability to inspect HTML, implement CMS changes, communicate technical requirements to developers and validate solutions after deployment.
• Hands-on experience with app store optimization across Apple App Store and Google Play, including keyword targeting, metadata and performance analysis.
• Practical experience evaluating AI search visibility and experimenting with content and discoverability improvements across emerging search experiences.
• Proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), website crawling tools, SEO research platforms and app store analytics.
• Experience developing content strategies and briefs, applying strong editorial judgment and guiding writers and other specialist contributors.
• Familiarity with YouTube optimization and the analysis of discovery, click-through rates and audience retention.
• Strong client-facing communication skills, with the ability to explain technical challenges clearly, defend recommendations and take ownership of results.
• Excellent prioritization, analytical thinking and project coordination skills, including the ability to manage competing demands across multiple accounts and distributed teams.
• Recent, demonstrable examples of personally delivered work, including the changes implemented, testing methods used and measurable results achieved.
• Nice to have: Digital agency experience managing multiple client accounts, international or multilingual websites and apps, large content libraries, ecommerce or subscription businesses, digital PR and link acquisition, server log analysis, scripting, workflow automation, or team and business unit leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a remote, collaborative environment, with the initiative to challenge established approaches and continuously improve performance.
