Job Opportunity: Acute Rehabilitation Physician

You will be working closely with a committed team that includes therapists, case managers, clinical liaisons, the unit director, and an IRF-PAI coordinator, all dedicated to your success and the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Position Overview:

Medical Leadership: Lead the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU).
Inpatient Focus: This role is entirely inpatient-based.
Work Hours: Commit to a minimum of 20 hours weekly to fulfill Medicare and regulatory standards for ARU operations.
Clinical and Administrative Duties: Your hours may encompass both clinical responsibilities and administrative tasks.
Flexible Scheduling: Enjoy the benefit of flexible shift arrangements.
On-Call Requirements: Be available for on-call duties from 7 AM to 7 PM, one weekend each month.

Qualifications:

Completion of a formal residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
A minimum of one year in a rehabilitation fellowship or equivalent training/experience, which includes a one-year hospital internship and at least two years of managing inpatient rehabilitation as part of a collaborative medical team.
