Build the Future.Shop Foreman – Wallwork Truck Center Grand ForksThe Shop Foreman is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of technicians while supporting the daily operations of the service department. This position is ideal for a strong leader who is passionate about coaching others, building team culture, and helping technicians grow in their careers.Technical knowledge is important, but success in this role is driven by leadership, communication, accountability, and the ability to develop people.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and mentor technicians, apprentices, and trainees.Foster a positive culture focused on teamwork, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.Support technician development through training, feedback, and career planning.Help technicians improve their skills, confidence, and productivity.Coordinate shop workflow and prioritize work assignments.Maintain high standards of quality, customer service, and efficiency.Work closely with Service Advisors, Parts, and Service Management to support customer uptime.Promote a safe, organized, and professional work environment.QualificationsLeadership experience in a service, maintenance, trucking, agricultural, construction, or related environment.Ability to motivate, coach, and develop employees.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to build and lead effective teams.Basic understanding of heavy-duty truck repair and shop operations preferred.Previous supervisory, lead technician, or team leadership experience preferred.What Success Looks LikeTechnicians are engaged, developing, and advancing in their careers.A strong team culture built on accountability, trust, and collaboration.Improved technician retention, productivity, and performance.EducationRequired: High School or better.ExperiencePreferred: 3 years: Diesel technician experience or equivalent trainingLicenses & CertificationsRequired: Drivers LicensePreferred: CDL LicenseEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
