Diesel Technician
DATTCO currently has a full-time diesel technician opening at our coach and tour fleet maintenance location in Cranston, RI.
DATTCO is a third generation, family-owned transportation company. We entered the motor coach charter business in 1964 with the New York World's Fair. DATTCO is now New England's largest private passenger transportation company. Our coach & tour group operates 200 vehicles and drives 6 million miles annually.

- Compensation of $25.00-40.00/hour
Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles
- Performs diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles
- Completes required paperwork with regards to repair orders and parts usage
- Makes road calls
- Owns and maintains the proper hand tools to perform job functions
- Follow orders of the shop foreman or other supervisor
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma, trade school or equivalent
- Training or experience in the field of automotive, truck or bus repair
- Driver's license
- Hold, or be eligible to, hold a CDL license
- Hold, or be willing to work toward, ASE certifications
- Adequate English verbal and written communication skills
- Physical strength and conditioning to perform all required tasks
