Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status using standardized tools and clinical interviews to form an accurate diagnosis. Create and implement individualized therapy plans that integrate evidence-based practices, addressing the unique challenges and goals of each client. Facilitate engaging one-on-one therapy sessions through our telehealth platform, ensuring clients feel supported and heard. Monitor and document client progress in electronic health record (EHR) systems, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Provide clients with coping strategies, resources, and interventions that empower them to manage their mental health effectively. Engage in regular supervision and peer consultation to enhance clinical skills and maintain ethical standards in practice. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will serve a diverse client population that includes individuals coping with mental health disorders, emotional distress, or behavioral challenges. Many clients seek support for managing anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. Your ability to connect with clients from various cultural backgrounds will be essential in providing effective, personalized therapy that resonates with their experiences. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required. A valid California license as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC. Minimum of two years of direct counseling experience in a clinical setting. Understanding of culturally responsive therapy methods and strategies. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with proficiency in using EHR and telehealth platforms. Preferred Experience Experience working with diverse populations, including various age groups and cultural backgrounds. Knowledge or specialization in trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic practices. Previous experience in a remote or telehealth setting is highly desirable, demonstrating adaptability to virtual service delivery. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
