Azenta Life Sciences seeks a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Burlington, MA. The role involves preparing accurate monthly financial reports, supporting audits and quarterly reviews, and driving process improvements across global finance operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and consolidated monthly results with analysis
- Participate in annual audits and quarterly reviews, managing timelines with external auditors
- Standardize and streamline finance processes to improve efficiency and establish best practices
- Maintain financial controls, procedures and processes in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and company policies
- Support footnote disclosures and assist with cross-functional projects of varying scope
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting plus 5+ years professional experience
- Experience in finance within life sciences, manufacturing, or public accounting
- Ability to analyze and explain financial results and business drivers
- Technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and SEC accounting rules
- CPA or CA designation preferred
- Oracle Cloud, NetSuite, or OneStream experience preferred
- U.S. work authorization required; visa sponsorship not provided
Compensation: $115,000-$135,000 base
