Warehouse Associate Lead

Summary Receives, stores, and distributes material and products within the warehouse by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead and direct team efforts in a warehouse environment. Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to production workers or assembly line. Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or convey orders to packing station or shipping department. Mark materials with identifying information such as labels. Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed. Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards. Arrange product in specified sequence for assembly by other workers. Schedule and Work Week 5:00 am – 3:30 pm, Wednesday–Saturday. 4‑day work week. Responsibilities Lead a group of 10+ employees in the warehouse operation, motivate and direct the team, and inform the department supervisor of problems or potential problems that require immediate attention. Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
