Financial Advisor

Responsibilities: • Be a coachable, organized team member interested in pursuing training development and educational opportunities • Look for, identify, and secure new clients to serve as a trusted advisor for crucial financial decisions • Customize financial plans for each client based on his or her professional/work circumstances, life stage, and evolving financial needs • Provide strategic recommendations for products, plans, investments, and other methods to help clients achieve financial goals • Determine cash flow, income, financial status, financial goals, monetary assets and all other financial situations related to wealth management to help clients define and achieve their financial objectives Qualifications: • Valid FINRA Series 7 & 63/66 preferred but not required • A required Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or similarly related field • Basic knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office, financial planning software, Google Suite, CRM systems, and related programs is needed • Superior communication, relationship building, and math skills to establish a strong foundation of customer service for all clients • Baseline knowledge about financial industry concepts, financial products, and the role of a financial advisor is desired To be considered, candidates must live in or around the Albany, NY area • Experience in financial planning or a related field is a plus, but not required. We offer any and all training, education, and registrations/licenses. • Ability to analyze financial data and develop actionable strategies for clients. • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships. • Strong communication skills to clearly explain complex financial concepts. • Ability to identify and secure new clients through networking and referrals. • Interest in continuous learning and professional development in financial services. • Organizational skills to manage multiple clients and financial plans effectively. Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000 yearly
