Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) RN position available in a high-acuity unit situated within a general healthcare setting. This role involves providing specialized critical care to patients with complex medical conditions, including neuro and cardiac patients, utilizing advanced equipment and therapies. The position requires a commitment to delivering quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 1 year of current hospital ICU experience, valid BLS, ACLS, and NIH Neuro Critical Care Certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior Meditech electronic medical record experience, and previous travel ICU experience at large facilities.
• Additional Information: The unit is a Cardiac Neuro Intensive Care Unit with 26 beds, typical census of 20-24 patients, and a staffing ratio of 1:2 with occasional 1:1 and 1:3 assignments. Procedures performed include heart caths, balloon pumps, Impella, TTM, neuro procedures, central lines, arterial lines, and medication drips. The team is composed of experienced staff with a focus on teamwork, technology, and high-quality patient care. Multidisciplinary rounding and bedside shift reports are standard practice.
