About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to oversee the hands-on operations of its assisted living community. The successful candidate will be responsible for the community's financial performance, employee leadership, and ensuring the satisfaction of residents and their families. This role demands a leader who is well-versed in state and federal regulations, as well as the company's policies and procedures. A key focus for the Executive Director is the sales and marketing process, with the goal of maximizing revenue and maintaining a strong market position. The role also involves strict adherence to safety and compliance standards, including OSHA regulations, and the management of the community's budget to ensure all financial opportunities are fully realized. Candidates for the Executive Director position at the company should ideally hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have a background in business administration, human resources, gerontology, or a related area. A minimum of 2-5 years' of prior General Manager or Administrator experience is preferred, or 5-10 years in senior living, hospitality, or skilled nursing, with at least 5 years at the management level. The role requires a valid driver's license and, if mandated by the state, a valid license to operate an assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management, be adept at generating leads and closing sales, and have the ability to effectively represent the community in various public settings. Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to multitask and ensure that the community operates within its budget.
