Job Description Seeking a dynamic Physical Therapist passionate about making a difference in the lives of children within educational settings. This rewarding contract opportunity features two distinct caseloads: a full-time Early Intervention assignment in Aston and a School Age assignment at the Marple Education Center, both conveniently located near Morton, PA. As a valued member of the multidisciplinary team, you'll be instrumental in helping students develop the foundational skills necessary for academic and daily living success. Key Qualifications and Experience: Valid Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license required Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred Comfortable collaborating with teachers, families, and other school professionals Ability to develop and implement IEP/IFSP goals and related documentation Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills Role Responsibilities: Provide direct physical therapy services to students in Early Intervention classrooms (5 days/week in Aston) Deliver therapy services to school-aged students with low incidence needs (4 days/week at Marple Education Center) Assess motor development and functional mobility; determine therapy goals and required accommodations Participate in IEP/IFSP meetings, contributing expertise and sharing progress with families and the educational team Maintain detailed and timely records of sessions, interventions, and student progress Engage with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure coordinated and holistic student care This is an exciting chance to have a positive impact on students’ growth and independence while enjoying a predictable weekday schedule.
