Patient Care Representative (Hyannis)

Purpose of Position Provides outstanding customer service to all callers when assisting with patient’s needs during telephone encounters. Description Advocates for the patient’s appointments and healthcare needs Communicate unresolved issues to manager or designee to facilitate timely interventions Demonstrate excellent communication skills effectively and efficiently Maintains accurate records of all calls and corresponding details Efficiently field patient questions and concerns Process messages and report to the respective physicians and their teams, whenever necessary Attends and actively participates in team meetings Answers phones in accordance with department standards to achieve expected goals Communicates effectively and efficiently when in the call center assignment Other work related duties as assigned Consistently provides service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers and co‑workers in a manner that reflects MACC’s commitment to CARES: compassion, accountability, respect, excellence and service. Qualifications Ability to read, write and communicate in English at the level of a high school graduate Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment Excellent telephone and communication skills Strong interpersonal, customer service and time management skills Experience with current office technology, proficient with computer office applications Minimum of one year experience in a clinical setting preferred Schedule Details: 32 Hours Per Week, Monday-Friday, 8a-3p, 830a-330p or 9a-4p, No Weekends & No Holidays Organization: Medical Affiliates of Cape Cod Primary Location: Massachusetts-Hyannis Department: MAC-Phones & Scheduling Annual/Hourly: Hourly Hiring Pay Range: 20.6 - 23.75 #J-18808-Ljbffr Cape Cod Healthcare
