Mindfully Psychiatry is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist who also serves as collaborating physician for our expanding psychiatry services. The psychiatrist will supervise up to 5 nurse practitioners, with the option of providing psychiatric services to patients of the practice. This can be a remote/hybrid role with a flexible schedule.

Our private practice offers autonomy and independence while maintaining a sense of community, and our Mindfully Academy provides training opportunities in different modalities and specializations, such as DBT, EMDR, child/Adolescent, SUD, Couples/IFS/Emotion Focused/Gottman and much more.

Responsibilities:

• Manages the healthcare of patients with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and preserves dignity and rights
• Prescribes and manages medications and non-pharmacological therapies based on the patient’s diagnoses, health history, and age
• Applies standardized care guidelines in clinical practice
• Performs designated procedures
• Ensures compliance
• Works collaboratively with integrated team, including PMHNP and counselors
• Collaborate with psychiatric nurse practitioners to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Review and sign off on patient charts and treatment plans as required by state regulations.
• Provide guidance and support to nurse practitioners in diagnosing and treating psychiatric conditions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Participate in regular team meetings and case reviews.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Be available for consultation and emergencies as needed.

Compensation:

$500.00 per Nurse Practitioner per month.

Qualifications and skills:

• Required License – Psychiatry
• Active and unrestricted Ohio license to practice medicine (MD, DO)
• Ability to function as an effective member of an integrated healthcare team
• Strong preference for specialty practice area such as children, adolescents, SUD recovery, geriatrics, or disabilities.
• Comfortable with a 1099 position
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
