Substitute Teacher

Key Responsibilities Instruction: Deliver the assigned lesson plans and curriculum effectively to keep students on track with their educational milestones. Classroom Management: Enforce school policies and maintain a positive, safe, and orderly learning environment. Supervision: Monitor students in and out of the classroom, including hallways, cafeterias, and playgrounds. Record Keeping: Take accurate attendance and report any injuries, behavioral issues, or academic progress to administration. Communication: Leave a detailed end-of-day report or notes summarizing the class's success and any incidents for the regular teacher. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Typically requires a minimum of a High School diploma, though many districts and states prefer an Associate's, Bachelor's degree, or a specialized substitute teaching permit. Background Check: Must pass mandatory criminal history and background screenings.
